Abstract
- ZnO@mpg-C3N4 core-shell photocatalysts were prepared via ultrasonic dispersion method.
- The ZnO@mpg-C3N4 showed remarkably UV and visible light photocatalytic activity.
- The core-shell structure favors the transport of both electrons and holes.
- The enhanced UV activity can be attributed to the hybridization of ZnO and mpg-C3N4.
- The enhanced visible light activity is due to core-shell structure induced by the match of lattice and energy level.
