Abstract
- Effect of CO2 on CO-PROX reaction has been studied over CuO/CeO2 catalysts.
- Activity tests revealed that CO2 reduces catalytic activity at temperatures <160 °C.
- Modeling of CO2 TPD showed the existence of different CO2 adsorption sites.
- Two different Cu sites were identified and addressed to CO and H2 oxidations.
- Cu strongly interacting with CeO2 releases CO2 at T < 160 °C, explaining CO2 effect.
