Abstract
- Fe0/CeO2 composite was prepared and used for chlorophenols removal.
- Fe0/CeO2 composite was characterized by XRD, SEM-EDX, HRTEM, BET, XPS and Raman analyses.
- CeO2 facilitated the generation of surface oxygen species and the dissolution of Fe0.
- The removal of chlorophenols followed the order of PCPÂ >Â 2,4-DCPÂ >Â 2,4,6-TCPÂ >Â 4-CP.
