Abstract
- Co-Pi/g-C3N4 photocatalyst was synthesized via “in situ” deposition process.
- The Co-Pi/g-C3N4 showed remarkably enhanced water splitting activity.
- The XPS revealed that Co-Pi was successfully deposited on the g-C3N4 surface.
- The intimate interfaces promote the charge transfer and separation.
- The mechanism was proposed and confirmed by PL and PEC results.
