Abstract
- Mesoporous Fe-Mn binary oxide with high surface area of 240Â m2/g was synthesized.
- Room-temperature catalytic removal of 10Â ppm NO was firstly reported.
- 100% removal of NO for 4Â h at a high space velocity of 40,000Â hâ1 was realized.
- NO was catalytically converted to NO2 and then adsorbed or absorbed as nitrates.
- A synergetic effect between Mnn+ and Fen+ was proposed for the catalysis process.
