Abstract
- Ru nanoparticles occupied external surface of MMT by borohydride reduction.
- Catalytic activity and reutilization were evaluated by NaBH4 hydrolysis.
- An average rate of 28,500 ± 500 mL minâ1 g(Ru)â1 at 25 °C was achieved.
- NaBH4 hydrolysis was first order in Ru/MMT and zero order in NaBH4.
- Deterioration mechanism was due to aggregation and partial fall-off of deposited Ru.
