Abstract
- 1% WO3/C_SGM_V produced 585 mg Lâ1 of H2O2 while Vulcan carbon produced 100 mg Lâ1.
- Lower quantities of metal on carbon supports are more efficient for H2O2 formation.
- WO3/C material exhibits surface acidity by the presence of W6+ and oxygenated species.
- Acid surface provides hydrophilicity and higher activity in ORR for H2O2 production.
- Photo-electro-Fenton allowed 75% phenol mineralization following 12Â h of electrolysis.
