Abstract
- Delaminated TiO2 pillared MMT was synthesized by sol-gel method for CO2 reduction.
- MMT loaded TiO2 controlled crystal size and inhibited electron-holes recombination.
- CO2 was converted efficiently to C1-C3 hydrocarbon fuels over MMT modified TiO2.
- Highest yield rates of 441.5 and 103 μmol g catâ1 hâ1 were achieved for CH4 and CO.
- Methane yield rate was 12 fold higher over MMT/TiO2 compared to pure TiO2 catalyst.
