Abstract

- Catalytic removal of HCBz on four types of OMS (α-, β-, γ- and δ-MnO2) was investigated.
- The adsorption of HCBz is found to related with surface area, pore (3.3-6.4 nm) volume and surface acid site.
- The destruction of HCBz is depended on catalyst reducibility and the amount of surface labile oxygen.
- Catalytic removal of unintentional POPs mixture on δ-MnO2 was studied.
