Abstract
- Selective CO methanation in the presence of CO2 and H2O was studied.
- TiO2-supported RuNi bimetallic and monometallic catalysts were used.
- The combination of Ru and Ni on TiO2 enhanced CO methanation and suppressed CO2 methanation.
- The Ru species on RuNi/TiO2 were located in close proximity to the Ni species.
- The presence of Ni on RuNi/TiO2 decreased the interfacial contact between Ru and TiO2.
