Abstract
- The p-n diode-type CoOx/TiO2 nanocomposites have been prepared.
- The nanocomposites contain anatase nanocrystals and Co3O4-like species.
- They are UV-active and catalyze methanol photoreforming to produce H2.
- The optimized CoOx/TiO2 exhibits superior and stable photocatalytic activity.
- It produces H2 photocatalytically in methanol-free phosphate-buffered solutions.
