- Ag/g-C3N4 plasmonic photocatalyst is prepared by polymerization-photodeposition way.
- Ag/g-C3N4 shows enhanced visible-light photocatalytic activity compared with g-C3N4.
- SPR effect of Ag contributes to the enhanced photocatalytic activity of Ag/g-C3N4.
- Ag/g-C3N4 can be reused at least 5 times without loss of photocatalytic activity.
- Photocatalytic mechanism based on the experimental results is revealed.
