Abstract
⺠A simple method for the efficient synthesis of cornered Ag and AgPt nanodisks has been developed. ⺠The cornered nanodisks were used as new catalysts in oxygen reduction reaction. ⺠The order of cornered AgPt nanodisk > cornered Ag nanodisk > Ag nanoplate in activity was obtained.
