Abstract
▶ A dual catalytic system is proposed for the reduction of NOx in diesel exhaust. ▶ This system would include distinct low and high temperature formulations. ▶ Supporting Pt on carbon nanotubes affords active low temperature HC-SCR catalysts. ▶ Acid treating the nanotubes results in further improvements in deNOx performance. ▶ A 3:1 Pt-Rh alloy is the most promising active phase found in this work.
