Hydrogen production from steam reforming of ethanol with nano-Ni/SiO2 catalysts prepared at different Ni to citric acid ratios using a sol-gel method

▶ Nano-Ni/SiO2 catalysts were prepared using the sol-gel method. ▶ Larger pore volume were obtained when the catalyst was prepared at higher CA content. ▶ Hydrogen production was increased with the catalyst prepared at higher CA content. ▶ Non-stable catalyst was prepared at Ni:CA ratio of 1:0.5 during the ethanol steam reforming.
