▶ Catalytic activity of Ce0.5Zr0.5O2 is enhanced by redox treatments. ▶ Pyrochlore-type ordering (κ phase) is responsible for this enhanced performance. ▶ Oxygen mobility at low temperatures depends on the extent of cations ordering.
