Abstract
ⶠAn induction period occurs implying organic radical mechanisms. ⶠThe statistical analysis points to the reaction temperature being the most decisive factor of catalytic wet oxidation. ⶠOxygen partial pressure, initial substrate concentration and their interaction may also influence induction period. ⶠOxidation proceeds through the hydroxylation of the aromatic ring.
