Abstract
ⶠAnatase films grown by cathodic arcs (CA) were tested as photocatalysts for Cr(VI) reduction. ⶠFilms grown by CA showed lower photoactivity than TiO2 P-25 films obtained by dip-coating. ⶠAdhesion properties of CA films were much better. ⶠThe reaction efficiency of CA films was improved by increasing the film thickness. ⶠCA films are very suitable for application in gas and aqueous photocatalytic systems.
