Abstract
â¶ A bi-functional composite, namely N-TiO2/AC was synthesized via sol-gel method. â¶ Provision of activated carbon support abated the detrimental effects of SO42â. â¶ Addition of 0.01-0.1Â mM H2PO4â enhanced bisphenol-A photodegradation efficiency. â¶ Addition of C2O42â revealed that bisphenol-A could also be photodegraded by holes.
