Abstract
The perovskite-type fluoride KMgF3 photocatalysts were prepared by microemulsion and sol-gel method, and were used to investigate phenol, chlorophenol, methyl orange and rhodanmine B degradation from water under visible light irradiation. Results demonstrate that photocatalytic activities of KMgF3 synthesized by microemulsion are superior to those prepared by sol-gel method, which is associated with crystal defects of fluorine vacancies and absorbed oxygen on the crystal surface.
