Abstract
⺠A novel alkaline-stable spore laccase was immobilized in calcium alginate beads. ⺠Acetosyringone was screened as the most efficient mediator for dye decolorization. ⺠The immobilized spore was reused for fifteen times in indigo carmine decolorization. ⺠More than 82% of the simulated dye effluent was decolorized after 6 h at pH 9.0.
