Abstract
⺠Hydrocracking of n-paraffin was examined over Pt/SiO2-Al2O3. ⺠The Lewis acid density increased with the Al content of SiO2-Al2O3 supports. ⺠The fraction of the Brønsted acid sites depended on the Al content of the support. ⺠The Pt catalyst gave higher yield of the middle distillate than did the Pd catalyst. ⺠The fraction of the Brønsted acid sites affected the catalytic activity.
