Abstract
- All of the Pd-Au bimetallic catalysts were more selective than Pd catalysts.
- Higher amount of Au resulted in more selective but less active catalysts.
- Higher amount of Pd resulted in more active but less selective catalysts.
- Presence of PdO enhanced the selectivity of the Pd-Au bimetallic catalysts.
- Wet oxidation of ACC substantially improved selectivity of the catalysts.
