Abstract
- Trickle bed reactor for the direct synthesis of hydrogen peroxide is process intensification.
- The ratio between H2 and Pd is one of the keys to achieve higher yields.
- Modifying the catalyst concentration along the bed changes the selectivity considerably.
- Low hydrogen concentration at the inlet are not recommended (use 4Â mol% LFL).
- High pressures increase the yield by increasing hydrogen partial pressure and kinetics.
