Abstract
- Visible light active NaNb1âxRuxO3 catalysts was synthesized and characterized.
- Partial replacement of niobium by ruthenium created a perovskite-like structure.
- 1% Ru-doped niobates absorbed visible light markedly with a band gap of â¼2.3Â eV.
- Pt nanoparticles was effectively dispersed onto the niobate via surface capping.
- Pt nanoparticles laden niobate enhanced phenol degradation under visible light.
