Abstract
- Air plasma modifies PVC, PS and PMMA surface tension and roughness, improving the wettability.
- Low-pressure plasma is required to avoid damage to thin, thermal sensitive substrates.
- Exposures of 600Â s to air LPP with discharge power of 300Â W promote stable wettability properties.
- TiO2 layer fixation on polymers is favoured with the plasma pretreatment.
- Accordingly, a notable improvement of the photocatalytic activity is obtained.
