Abstract
- Uniform hydrous TiO2 spheres (HTSs) can be self-organized via a sol-gel process.
- HTSs with tunable size and textural properties can be selectively prepared.
- Mesoporous anatase spheres (MASs) with tunable inner structures can be derived from HTSs.
- Excellent performances of MASs in the photoelectrochemical field are summarized.
