Abstract
- Performances of different photochemical processes on ibuprofen mineralization were compared.
- The effect of various operating parameters on the mineralization was evaluated.
- Increasing mineralization power is in order UV alone < H2O2/UV < photo-Fenton processes.
- TOC removal follows pseudo second-order reaction kinetics.
- TOC removal of ibuprofen solution was higher than 96% with 10Â mM H2O2 and 0.25Â mM Fe3+.
