Abstract
⺠Preparation and characterization of a new boron peroxotungstate, [BW4O24]5â, presenting high catalytic activity with H2O2. ⺠Complete conversion of geraniol is achieved, in homogeneous conditions, after 2 h of reaction at room temperature. ⺠The novel peroxotungstate was anchored into functionalized silica and encapsulated on a metal organic framework (MIL-101). ⺠The encapsulated peroxotungstate gives rise to the best results, reaching complete conversion of geraniol after 3 h. ⺠The peroxo@MIL-101 can be reused without appreciable loss of catalytic activity.
