Abstract
The container shape to minimise volume of draining fluid on container walls is found. ⺠Centrifugal draining is most effective in containers with large radius. ⺠Fluid film thickness is described by similarity solutions at large time. ⺠Optimal shape for shear thinning fluid has larger radius than for Newtonian fluid.
