Abstract
A BiOI/g-C3N4 nanosheet composite was constructed via in situ growth of BiOI nanoplates on the surface of g-C3N4 nanosheets. The composite showed excellent photocatalytic activity and recyclability under visible-light irradiation. A double-transfer mechanism of photoinduced electrons was proposed to explain the process of charge transfer and separation in the composite.
