Abstract
Cobalt nanoparticles encapsulated in N-doped carbon act as an efficient catalyst for room-temperature hydrogenation of nitroarenes owing to the synergetic effect of H2 activation on the Co nanoparticles and nitro group adsorption on N-doped carbon.
