Abstract
Ag nanoparticles are deposited on BiVO4 containing oxygen vacancies, which increases the photocatalytic efficiency of the resulting composite compared to the corresponding single component samples. Oxygen vacancies and surface plasmon resonance collectively contribute to electron-hole separation and charge transfer, enhancing the photocatalytic performance.
