One-step synthesis of graphitic carbon nitride nanosheets for efficient catalysis of phenol removal under visible light

Abstract
A simple method was developed to prepare g-C3N4 nanosheets by thermal polymerization of cyanuric acid and melamine in air. The g-C3N4 nanosheets showed superior photocatalytic activities than bulk g-C3N4.
