Abstract
The use of bifunctional metallosalen complexes bearing quaternary phosphonium salts under solvent-free, mild conditions without co-catalysts exhibited high efficiencies catalyzing both the CO2-based N-formylation reaction of amines from hydrosilanes and the cycloaddition of CO2 to epoxides.
