Abstract
Core-shell magnetic metal-organic framework (Fe3O4@UiO-66-NH2) with well-defined structure was constructed by dispersing magnets in a DMF solution containing two MOF precursors, i.e., ZrCl4 and 2-aminobenzenetricarboxylic acid. It is an active and stable heterogeneous base catalyst for Knoevenagel condensation.
