Abstract
The choice of Lewis acid determines the course of N-alkylation of a primary amide through hydrogen autotransfer reaction catalyzed by cooperative catalytic systems composed of Au/Pd bimetallic nanoparticles and Lewis acid, and directs the course of the reaction towards the desired product or by-product.
