Mechanism and active sites of CO oxidation over single-crystal Au surfaces and a Au/TiO2(110) model surface

At low temperature (< 320 K), the active sites were the perimeter of the interface between gold nanoparticles and TiO2 support. In contrast, low-coordinated gold atoms were the active sites at high temperature (> 320 K).
