Abstract
Uniform Au25 nanocluster enclosed in silica with high thermally stability is prepared. The Au25@SiO2 material can be stable even calcined in air at 400 °C and the catalytic activity for the reduction of 4-nitrophenol to 4-aminophenol enhanced after annealing.
