Abstract
A new analytical method, namely the homotopy analysis method (HAM), has been applied to investigate the temperature field associated with the Falkner–Skan boundary-layer problem, and a series solution is provided in this paper. The results of the present work show agreement with those of numerical solutions in a large range of Prandtl numbers (0 < Pr ≤ 100), which demonstrates the validity of the present analysis.
