Abstract
⺠We built an experimental setup to study free convection in a water vertical channel. ⺠The heated walls are under isoflux conditions. ⺠We measure velocity (by LDV system) and temperature in the channel. ⺠We present first results for five heat flux conditions. ⺠We observed a transition in the flow driven by the global shear in the channel.
