Abstract
⺠Evaporative water flow is tested in minichannels and microchannels. ⺠Effective heat flux, local heat transfer coefficients and vapor qualities are calculated. ⺠Heat transfer coefficients increase with increasing of heat flux whereas decrease with increasing of vapor quality. ⺠Microchannels can get higher heat transfer coefficients than minichannels under same heat and mass transfer condition. ⺠A new correlation including Bond number is developed and validated to cover the prediction of experimental data.
