Abstract
⺠Fire spread experiments are carried out on an inclinable bench plate of 30 m2. ⺠Experimental set-up combines thermal sensors and video cameras. ⺠Heat convection exists ahead of the fire even in the absence of a slope. ⺠The slope strongly enhances the fluctuating fluid motions of the fire.
