Abstract
Partially silver-exchanged phosphotungstic acid (Ag1PW) presented exceptionally high activity for glycerol esterification with acetic acid to produce valuable biofuel additives, with 96.8% conversion even just 15 min. The TON of Ag1PW is up to 2189.9 h−1, which is the best catalytic activity ever reported for glycerol esterification.151
