Abstract
Ethanol formation from syngas on Cu-based catalyst suggests that minimizing CH3OH production and/or boosting CH3 sources can improve the productivity of ethanol; as a result, the promoter Rh can facilitate CH3 formation and CO insertion into CH3, moreover, decreases CH3OH formation to achieve high productivity for ethanol.76
