Abstract
⺠Kinetic orders with respect to H2 and CO are dependent upon reaction temperature. ⺠Reaction temperature is a tunable parameter to control the regioselectivity. ⺠The rate-determining step is alkene insertion and oxidative addition of H2 at low and high temperature, respectively. ⺠Derived rate expressions are consistent with kinetic studies and can be used to adequately model the experimental data.
