Abstract
⺠Supported Ir-Pd nanoparticles exhibit a size-composition correlation, which affects their surface composition. ⺠Ostwald ripening during the thermal reduction treatment explains this correlation. ⺠The selectivity in tetralin ring opening and contraction is optimal at intermediate IrPd composition.
