Abstract
Benzil exhibits a direct electrocatalytic activity for CO2 reduction and an indirect electrocatalytic activity for reduction of pyridine in the presence of CO2. Activated CO2 has a dual activity in the pyridine carboxylation and the isonicotinic acid electrosynthesis.111
