Abstract
ⶠBiOI photocatalyst was synthesized successfully. ⶠBiOI exhibits excellent photocatalytic activity. ⶠPhotodegradation mechanism was investigated systematically. ⶠhvb+ and O2â radicals were proven to be the main oxidants.
