Abstract
⺠Quantum dots (QDs) provide substantial harvesting of IR power. ⺠Charging of QDs enhances IR light harvesting and suppresses recombination losses. ⺠Selective doping of QDs strongly affects micro- and nanoscale potential profiles. ⺠Adequate doping prevents charge redistribution between QDs and pre-contact areas. ⺠Optimized charging of QDs significantly increases photovoltaic conversion.
